Hello & thanks for visiting my website. AP Campaigns is a small firm I created almost 20 years ago as a vehicle for my political consulting and democracy-building business domestically and worldwide. Since then, I've worked in 25 countries and 38 states. We all have a role in creating the world we want to see and live in, and my work focuses on that.
I have a pretty simple theory of change that goes something like this - educating and electing more women and others from under-represent minority communities will solve most of the world's problems. In the US, this means supporting more Black, Latine, Asian, LGBTQI+, and GenZ candidates and centering those communities in our storytelling and communications. Globally it isn't much different. We need to train and elect new leaders - women in youth to change government and policy-making institutions' priorities.
My passion for policy centers around diversity, equity, equality, freedom, and opportunity. Pay equity, reproductive freedom, gender equality (including LGBTQI rights), educational opportunity (canceling student debt), access to affordable health care, and paid family leave. Gun control, criminal justice reform, and climate change require urgent actions. I'm blessed to have experience working on all these issues and continue to look for new opportunities to continue my contribution to them.
I'm a serial political entrepreneur, having started several nonprofits and companies. I channel my energies into creating professional networks, voter contact, democracy building, and promoting women and youth political leadership programs in the US and globally and I have different vehicles and teams for each.

Global GAIN is a nonprofit focused on democracy building, women's political leadership, and networking. Our program work is currently focused on Rwanda and Ukraine.
Each organization has a unique purpose, which I hope contributes to improving our world. When I'm not focused on how to save our democracy, advocacy, and elections, I'm probably hanging out with my dog Bruno, and managing my Airbnb, which is how I'm able to be a true global gypsy and digital nomad. I'm a passionate Airbnb evangelist and super host. I love to travel and shop for creative things for them - and A Curated World.

In 2020 Amy changed her business model and began managing mail clients directly at AP Campaigns rather than through strategic partners. This year, 2022, AP Campaigns launched a new consulting and communications firm called Amplify Power. She will service all mail clients now through Amplify Power.

AP Campaigns has worked with and for the Democratic party committees, national labor unions, Super PACs, Issue Advocacy campaigns, ballot measures, candidate campaigns, voter education, and grassroots advocacy.

Clients have included the DNC, DCCC, America Votes, For Our Future, AFSCME, SEIU, the Teamsters, NARAL Pro-Choice America, Planned Parenthood, the Brady Campaign, EMILY's List, and hundreds of candidates and other local electoral and legislative campaigns.

AP Campaigns works on Democracy & Governance program with International NGOs, providing training and management consulting to international and local non-governmental organizations (NGOs), corporations, political parties, and individuals running for public office.
Additionally, AP Campaigns provides leadership, business development, and client management services to Digital Turf and collaborates with them to create digital advertising campaigns.
